Custom-made packaging: when the container has to convey emotion, not just protect
Not every packaging project aims to sell more. Some aim to accompany. And that is where custom-made packaging shows its full potential: when the container stops being a vessel and becomes an object with meaning. This project is probably the best example of how far a well-considered cardboard tube can go.
A brief that allowed no coldness
Jardí de Memories offers funeral and cremation services for pets. They needed packaging turned into an urn that conveyed care and respect, not institutional coldness. The challenge was not technical: it was emotional. The container had to be worthy of a delicate moment for families.
At ABZAC Generation we produced a wide-format matte white cylindrical tube, with a geometric floral logo and a minimalist design on lid and body, with a soft-touch finish. The result is an object families keep. Packaging turned into an urn that becomes part of the mourning, not of the container.
Why bespoke packaging matters
When the container has to communicate something as specific as respect, a standard format will not do. The bespoke cardboard tube lets every variable be adjusted to the project's intent:
- Format and proportion adapted to the function, not the other way around.
- Sensory finishes (matte, soft-touch) that communicate calm and care.
- Minimalist graphic design that conveys serenity without excess.
Every choice has a function, and every choice directly affects how the object is perceived. That is the difference between a generic container and an eco-premium container designed for a specific purpose.
Sustainability and emotion are not at odds
The cardboard tube format allows 100% recyclable solutions without giving up a high-end finish. For a project with values like this one, custom sustainable packaging is not an extra: it is consistency. The material accompanies the message.
And that consistency shows. An object cared for down to the last detail, made with responsible materials, communicates the brand's values before a single word is read.
The question that opens any project
At ABZAC Generation, every project begins by understanding what story the packaging has to tell. We do not start from a design, we start from a question: what should the recipient feel? From there we build the format, the material and the finish.
We manufacture premium cardboard cylindrical tubes, classic, telescopic and fully bespoke, backed by almost 100 years of industrial experience.
